Hello! I’m looking forward to being back blogging. I can’t promise it will be weekly or certainly not daily at this point! I thought I would start with some random thoughts that have been swirling around in my brain as of late!

Purpose of My Website

When I thought about the purpose for this site, I wanted (and still want) it to be a conglomeration of me, a place to put my thoughts and stories, no matter the topic. I wanted my home on the web to be all about me and how I can serve you.

I want to make a difference “out there” in the world, but I don’t have just one niche. I strongly considered importing our old family and pregnancy blogs here, as they are a part of who I am! A few years ago I blogged about our family adventures. While fun, it started to feel “not my story” anymore as the children aged. It seemed a little too much private news that was no longer private. That’s not to say I won’t tell stories from the past! I decided it was time for a fresh slate, and new content.

I haven’t shut down that blog, though, so feel free to poke around in that part of my past. Maybe there are some testimonies about my miscarriage, healthy iron levels, or journey to conceive a baby that speak to you!

With that out of the way, here are some topic ideas I have for adding content to my new site here at paigekite.com (that domain name still sounds so wild to me!):

  • Faith
  • Horse love (is there much else to say?) 😉
  • My adventures with Lutheran Volunteer Corps
  • Wellness tips and my own journey
  • Minimalism (I’m a wanna-be minimalist)
  • Self development
  • Personal money management

And, I may throw in some photos of hubby’s woodworking. 😉 As you can see, I’m a little “all over the place.” Hopefully once I get going, there will be more focus. I didn’t want to not write out of fear, though; fear of not being “perfect,” or “focused,” or whatever you may want to call it.

My dad taught me the “no fear” mentality. Nike also taught me to “just do it.” 😉

So, here we go!

I’d love to know where my readers are from. Let me know in the comments!

Blessings,

~ Paige
